Shielding

Shielding plays a decisive part in cable design: It prevents both permeation and emmission of ellectromagnetic radiation. The right choice of shielding is essential if the requirements for EMC-Security are high.

SENSOCAB uses the following shieldings which can also be combined for high-quality applications:

• Copper and tinsel braids as braided shield (C- shield)
• Copper sheathing as cable shield (D-shield)
• Aluminium laminated polyester foil as film shield (static shield)
• Aramid yarn as braided shield (strain relief)
• Mixed shield of tinsel wire and Aramid yarn
